Mine are _IGP1234 etc. That's for PEF's. The *istD used to have different prefixes for RAW and Jpegs, and also, I think, it depended on what colourspace (Adobe RGB or sRGB) was used. Possibly the same for the 10D?

Could go and try, but it's late and I'd just end up playing with my camera for a while.

It all depends on how many kids are doing their homework nearby, whether your neighbour's downloading Spiderman 3...

Pete,

I'm on broadband (about 1.5Meg) and it took about 25 seconds before I could start looking at pictures. The photos were good, and the site looks okay to me once loaded, but that's the point, no matter how good the photos and the overall look of the site, if someone doesn't wait, it's a crap website.

Just because the guy's a successful photographer doesn't mean his website must be good. Imagine you were amongst the however many million using dial-up. How long would you be prepared to wait then? How many people, potential customers, would give up and look elsewhere?

Hi Pete,

Well done, nice shot. Lovely colours in the reflections. I know when you're on holiday you have to take the weather as it comes, and a sunny day in Wales is perhaps a rarity in Spring , but ideally this shot would have been better on a bright, but overcast day (or even if you'd waited for a cloud to pass over the sun).

This would have reduced the contrast and stopped the area top right from burning out, and given you a chance of keeping some texture in the lower part of the waterfall.

Being extra picky, just because it's a major bugbear of mine, the pic has got a slight lean to it. The pool that the fall falls into is sloping right to left.

And you missed out the little arch at the top of this fall!

Hope you had a great weekend over the border. Where abouts were you staying?

I think I might start an investment company - I got my PKA mount for £18, got myself a 1.7x AF adaptor for less than £75 a year ago... Might be able to retire next year at this rate!

If anyone's after a Tamron Adaptall PKA adaptor, that seller's got one on a lens. Might be a bargain.

If it's the one you posted a day or so ago, it's in the 'Pentax Film SLR Cameras' section where you left it, which did raise a comment or two.

Or have you made another, that Pentax have removed because it's too exciting??
