Hi Tom,

The Capture Tab (top of the white balance, focusing etc tabs) shows the histogram. As far as I can see, it's the same as the output histogram - when you apply changes to the image, the 'capture' histogram changes to.

Matt might come up with something different here, but I've just had a play and that's what it seems to do. Can't say I pay much attention to the capture histogram myself, just use the exposure one.

Hi Brian,

I'd agree with Matt regarding the sharpness of that first image, although I realise it's to keep the file size down - 70Kb is good! Sloping landscape I find a little off-putting though.

One other thing is that the Club Rooms page gives me the impression that it's a not very well attended club, any more pics with a larger gathering?

Ah, thanks Mongoose. I think that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said to me.

Especially for Pete. Sorry for the post wandering somewhat off topic...

Are you serious? Can if you want, but they're not the most thrilling of subjects...

"Little edit"??? Reflection needs attention!

Almost looks like a dust spot top right, but I realise it can't be in a Riley camera...

Nice shot though, good colours and timing.

I have a Tamron 300mm f/2.8, which is nice, but heavy (I suspect it's all brass ). Has the obvious advantage of still only being f/5.6 with a 2x convertor (600mm), and works well with the 1.7x AF covertor.

But too heavy to pop in the bag 'just in case' - you've got to make the decision that that's the lens you're taking with you.
