Hi and welcome
I fitted a split image screen to a istD and found it generally needed 2 stops compensation, but sometimes 3 stops
My wife now has the camera and wants the screen removed

I signed up on here ages ago but never posted, so here goes (deep breath)
I am new to digital (approx 1 year), and have learned a lot from this and other forums.
I use a DS with a number of lenses. I have recently been re-discovering my old M lenses, and to that end have just fitted a split image screen to my camera (reminds me of my MX). Havnt had time to evaluate it properly, but in the kitchen last night under hopeless lighting there didnt seem to be any difference in exposure between the original and new screen.
I have posted some pictures on other forums and wont re-hash them here , but will post when i have something (I think) intreresting to show.
Quite a long hello really.
