OK, a circular polariser is easier to rotate?

And got to get myself out of essex everynow and again i guess theres the fair share of wildlife but the only thing basildon is known for is Depeche Mode Lol
I was up at Fingringhoe Wick last weekend, got plenty of shots of butterflies, dragonflies, a lizard and an adder. Don't write off Essex, there's a lot more here than you might think.
Unless you're after Tigers (although there's always Colchester Zoo).

Tried that one coverted to B&W and liked it like that too! I tried a hue/saturation layer set to colorize (Hue 45, Saturation 5, Lightness 0) and then a Brightness/Contrast layer (B -10, C +20).
Lovely pic, keep 'em coming!

Do you think the polarizer was more detrimental than beneficial?

First shot was this:

Wide open, 1/10s.
Not the best composition I'll be the first to admit, but that depth of field is next to nothing, and the out of focus areas... Practically melt in the mouth.
Thanks to all at SRS, postal strike not a problem, very well packaged and secure.

According to the reviewer "where it (the Canon) does score well is wide open at f/2.8", whereas the "at the wide apertures below f/5.6, the (Pentax) lens is a little disappointing".
Hence the reason magazine reviews are held with an air of scepticism round here.
