Software updates

Have just downloaded update 1.03 for *istDL. Will this be OK to upload to my *istDL2 Pentax site lists *istD *istDS *istDS2 but only *istDL. Need to make sure before I end up with expensive doorstop!

1.02 for the DL2 looks to have the same features as 1.03 for the DL, so I wouldn't use it if I were you. It does say it's only for the DL.

Only use the firmware for the model of camera that is was intended for! Serious problems could arise if the firmware gets mucked up (e.g. Dead Camera!)

Thanks, guys. Made no attempt to upload and have deleted the update. After many years of film I'm still coming to terms with digital.
