Have a look here and see what takes your fancy Paul.

You should receive at least a welcome pack, and probably 3 magazines a year with info on your local trust, as well as the national Wildlife Trust's magazine 'Natural World' three times a year too. I would expect you'll get a reserves map amongst all that.

All the best,
Dan

WOW, what can I say. Job done. This is fabulous. Exactly what I was looking for. Many many thanks for that. It just works like a dream.
Now to the laborious task of deleting all the other programs I tied
Thank again
Kind regards

I'm guessing the floor of the shed was either dirt, or perhaps concrete, and this warms the colour of the light reflected up into the shadowed areas at the top of the shed. The more direct light from the sky (blue, or possibly cloudy, depending on the white balance you chose), is much cooler and hence the blue tones to the bottom of the picture.

No way really of getting around it, other than adjusting the WB to warm up the bottom, which will obviously warm to the top more too, which may be excessive. You could process the shot twice, with different white balances, then combine the two.

As far as composition and subject - I like them very much.

Don't know the best place. Going through Pentax, you would hope, will be more likely to guarantee they have any required parts in stock. If Asahi Photo don't, it may take some time to get them in.

Having used neither, I can't really comment though.

Not sure you've got any choice but to send it for repair. Where did you buy it? You could try contacting the shop and explain what's happened, they may be able to provide a substitute whilst it's away. Failing that, you could rent one from SRS, £60 for 7 days, £4 a day after that.

Good luck, hope it's a quick repair.

Unfortunately/fortunately, my workshop is going ahead tomorrow, so no chance of going to Watford for a play.

Hope you all have a great time, I'll just have to get up there some other time. Humph.

Don't forget your own hands on preview this saturday in Watford!
All being 'well' I'll be doing a workshop so won't be able to come. Having said that, at the moment there aren't enough people booked on to run it. One more though...

Which puts me in a dilemna - earn a bit more towards the K-5, or go and have a play with one (and the 645D). Win win really.

Keep meaning to ask Chris if he's going to have the demo K-5 knocking about for a while, will pop over there in the week if so.

Exactly the same for me, can't be bothered to try it again at this time of night.
