Have just bought PSE9, my first editing software (apart from with-camera supplied stuff).

Still wading through "The Missing Manual".........!

Good set!

No.2: Canaletto would have taken photos like this, I'm sure!

I used A.M. Technical services to unstick the diaghram blades on an old Kiron lens. Service was prompt & cost good, £30.00,inc.

I would use him again.

Lovely image, James.

I find the positioning of the the shoe a little vague/ haphazard.

For a graphic image such as this, should the shoe not be "level", in pure profile?

Everyone knows, don't they, that all our common birds in this country are boring L.B.Js (Little brown jobs)?

Well, not anymore, they don't!!

Wonderful images, Mike.

Thanks for letting us see!

Yes, Mike, I was struggling with the comet, that's for sure! The website said it was a blur rather than a point (my words), so my search was certainly more in hope than expecation!

I'd be interested to see some of yours, in spite of your under-estimation of the results of your efforts!!!

Roger.

ps, 30sec. @ F5, at what ISO?

Could anyone please recommend an instruction book/manual for Elements9?

My learning curve could do with a bit of steepening!

Many thanks,

Coker.

Thanks, Mike.

No, just on a fixed tripod, 1sec. @ f4.

was playing with a view to capturing the comet in Cassiopia last week. Failed at that but was intrigued at what it did reveal!

Best regards,

Roger.
