A few taken in London

Still getting to grips with my k-x but i was impressed with it last weekend in London - the colours looked great (to my eyes) and the focus was sharp.

I know this are not good technically but sometimes not knowing how to do things correctly can bring interesting results !







This was taken in Pizza Express - with the standard kit lens and no flash - I was impressed !

Nice set, second one is nice. My fav is the third shot, nice and sharp and nice light to it, althought it is rather central in the frame. Crop out some of the wasted space on the left hand side.

i agree about the third shot but i really took it just to see what the camera could do in low light - my old compact could never have produced that !

#1 for me, the bad lighting and silhouettes make it stand out.

I really like the second shot from Greenwich - a great wide angle. Especially viewed a bit larger, the first one is very appealing too. Nice work!

No.2: Canaletto would have taken photos like this, I'm sure!

No. 1 is impressive, but needs a levels adjustment (IMO) so the highlights in the clouds etc are properly white.
