I have a 200, but find that occasionally (not too often) it's just a touch small to carry what I want and still be easy to access different pieces... I'm guessing that the 300 wouldn't feel too different, but the extra 3 inches of width could be very useful at times...

Has anyone owned a 200 AND a 300 - I'd like to hear a first-hand impression of the difference in size... both in terms of interior space, and how it feels to wear... I've looked at the website, but the local dealer doesn't have the 300 in stock (says they don't sell - go figure - no stock = no sale) and doesn't want to carry the inventory (but of course will order one if I will buy it... )

We spend a week or two in northern Ontario (Canada) every year - (think swamps, rocks, lakes and evergreens) and Avon's Skin-so-Soft works on the mosquitoes here very well... But make sure to get the Avon product and not the bug repellent named 'OFF! Skin so Soft' - it isn't nearly as effective. And nothing really works on Blackflies - so if you can avoid springtime up there, you're much better off...

I've decided to fill the big gap at the bottom of my lenses and have been looking at either the 12 - 24 Pentax/Sigma or the 10 - 20 Sigma or possibly the Sigma 15 - 30 . (decided to stick to rectilinear since I never could get anything I liked out of a fish-eye, though others do so well...)

Leaning towards the 12-24 as it could be used on my film body as well, but that's the least of my concerns...

I'd like to hear some opinions on these (or similar lenses) to help me finally make up my mind...

Thanks

edit : added the sigma 15 - 30 to the mix

Adobe makes one called "Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 - Classroom in a Book" It's set up in a lesson style format, but the lessons are grouped and identified by function, so if you're looking for a particular function, it's pretty easy to find/use. It also has a CD-Rom with examples...
ISBN : 978-0-321-47674-6

I like it...

if you own an ipod get an adaptor to back your images to it...if you always wanted an ipod now you have an excuse.
I did this - It works, pictures actually look quite good - small but good - but be prepared to wait - transfer is brutally slow (especially noticeable if shooting RAW or RAW+JPG), and make sure your batteries are topped up in the camera and on the ipod...

But, having said that, I never realized how muc I NEEDED an mp3 player before getting one... (Pick up an FM transmitter to go with it and it's like having your entire CD collection with you in the car... less than 60% memory used and 10,000 songs and about 1500 photos on mine right now...)

This is starting to sound like a Lowepro 200AW Slingshot advertisement. I, too, have one and it's, IMO, the best bag I've used, though admittedly the list isn't terribly long.

Tried the AW cover at my kids soccer match last week and it's perfect. You forget it's there until you need it, and it's easy to use and pack away... If you do need the AW cover, when you get back indoors, let it dry before stuffing it back into its pocket...

(Any suggestions please otherwise it is fairly useless)
Pretty much what I found - although I don't think it was quite as bad as that for me...

It is very slow... I only used it a few times before deciding it wasn't really a viable solution...
