K10 compatible with iPod Camera Connector to Ipod video?

The Apple website does not mention Pentax in its list of compatible cameras. The iPod Camera Connector works with digital cameras that support the following transfer protocols: Mass Storage, PTP, and Type 4 (sometimes referred to as “Normal”).
In the K10D manual I cannot findd a reference to this.
Can anyone give me any advice before I go and buy this connector?
Thanks in advance for any advice

My K10D works with my 60GB video iPod via the connector, no problem.

It is quite common for the camera not to be 'seen' the first time you use the connector.

Just re-set the iPod with the camera and connector attached, and all should be fine.

Be aware, the iPod might not like your RAW PEF's, but jpegs are ok.

What I mean is, you can store both formats, but you can only view jpeg's on the iPod,
it will not show the RAW pics, just download them to your Mac for viewing

This is the little beast, just plug it into your iPod and use the camera USB cable.

You can probably get the unit from a variety of sources, I got mine from John Lewis.

Spooky....just pressed the Confirm button on Pixmania to purchase and in comes your response. So purchased for £ 16.17 plus postage (whenever that will be with strike!!).

I visited link thanks, so only concern appears to be battery life and speed.

I have a recent 80GB Video so hope it has the grunt for battery. Any comments from your side on this?

Just arrived.......BUT it does burn battery.

Had a nearly fully charged battery and downloaded 18 (10 Mb JPEG - approx 3Mb) and burnt half the battery and just to make sure repeated the exercise and stopped before I completely flattened it (10 pics).

Thought that the Docking Station I had Logic3 with power input and a Ipod socket might prove a useful combination but no go. (Does not recognise the adaptor).

(Any suggestions please otherwise it is fairly useless)

Pretty much what I found - although I don't think it was quite as bad as that for me...

It is very slow... I only used it a few times before deciding it wasn't really a viable solution...
