...it will make you look more professional and less like a photographer that's just rolled out of bed
Although there are some market segments where this wouldn't be a bad thing...
But then again, they might involve tequila and dormitories...

Mr. Keppler was probably the biggest reason I went with Pentax back in my K1000 days... I liked the way he seemed to be able to cut through all the marketing spin and hype, and detail what was 'right' about a piece of equipment. (or wrong, as he sometimes did..)

There goes probably my last reason to occasionally buy PopPhoto...

Very cool - like the idea - must agree with amoringello that the backlight could be a little dimmer, and maybe not quite so dark in the bottom right...

Very dramatic - do you have a fog machine, or is it "homemade" smoke ? (I seem to recall you giving a dangerous sounding smoke recipe a few weeks back for smoke, or pyrotechnics, or both...)

I got a compliment from my brother : "Wow - your camera takes really good pictures!"

(to which I replied "Wow, your mouth makes really nice sounds!"

Actually, I got myself an AF 1.7x Adapter for Christmas, but it got stuck in Customs and only arrived today...

Just FYI - I occasionally use my 110 and this seems to be the easiest place (for me, anyway) to get current dated 110 film...

http://www.frugalphotographer.com/cat110.htm they run about a buck less than WalMart...

Developing is the problem - can be pricey... so I'd be happy to beta test any digital solutions anyone might care to fabricate...

HMMMN....bears more than a passing resemblance to my ex-mother-in-law.
Reminded me of the Cat Stevens song that says "...she had a strange resemblance to a cat named Frankenstein..."

Merry Christmas - and enjoy the traditional Christmas Dinner with the family (In-laws as well )

Lotus Seed Pods...

We have them in our pond - never thought of them as anything but weeds though...

Mirror telescopes are adjusted (the term is Collimation) by adjusting screws holding either (or both) the primary and/or secondary mirrors... It can make a very large difference when looking at planets, etc.

(You'll probably get better info from someone who actually uses a telescope more than the once or twice a year I do....)

BUT, looking at my own 500mm F8 mirror (not a Tamron) I don't actually see where you could get at screws anywhere to actually perform this operation... Not sure the thing is "user maintainable", though it's cheap enough that I may try it sometime anyway, just for curiosity's sake...
