The hoods are horrendously expensive.
A friend uses Cokin 'P' and has good results but often gets a magenta colour cast. Easily removed in Photoshop.
The hoods are not all that expensive for the Cokin system so I am told.

If anyone has one to sell I could well be your man.

Welcome to the forum.
I'm sure that whatever your questions are about the Pentax range someone on here will know the answer.
Or at least point you in the right direction.

I use a third party paper and it prints very accurately using either their own inks or Epson inks.
Furthermore yet another third party paper manufacturer produces a 'High White Smooth' matt paper that produces identical results to Epson Archival matt when we run them through our Epson 4800.
Ilford Gallerie Smooth Pearl and Ilford Gallerie Gold Fibre Silk (our favourite paper) also give superbly accurate colours using Epson inks and inks from Fotospeed.
All the above are printed using settings found in the printer software.
I keep worrying that I'm not doing it right. Silly me!

Don't get hung up on that sentence - many 'pros' are driven by client demands rather than any artistic vision and thus earn decent money churning out stuff not always worth a second glance. The percentage of pros who have the luxury to simply take photos of the things they enjoy in the style of their choosing is fairly low.
"Nah, I don't get that why has he taken a photo of that/ It's cr*p"
They then proceed to admire and perhaps even buy a piece of work that at best can be described as humdrum.
But we have to make a living.
Huge tip on marketing coming your way:
Put it in either a plain black or oak/beech 20"x16" frame, double mounted, sign it, number it as a limited edition and ask £195 for it and they fly off the walls.
Put the same print in the same frame with the same mount, with the same signature and number, price it at £75 and it could well stay forever. The theory being " oh if it's that cheap he can't be much bl**dy good"
It used to make my blood boil. Now I smile sweetly and laugh all the way to the bank

We bought a whole boot full of Epson Premium Glossy and premium lustre when it was on BOGOF at a store in Inverness.
The poor assistant looked a bit miffed when we asked how much they had in stock and went on to say "Well take the lot" that was in 2009 and we are still using it when we do odd freebies or someone asks us to scan and print and old neg ".....but I don't want to spend a fortune"
No problems at all on either of our Epson 3000's . In fact prints done on Premium Glossy look rather good and often impress people.

Your comments have certainly given me cause to smile awhile.
Davem if you are up on Skye later this year look us up.
In fact if any of you find yourselves over near Skye please feel free to get in touch.
Don't worry about not using a Pentax strap, I have never ever used a branded/logo ridden strap.
Right now I'm using Tamrac quick release ones.
Don't forget, look us up.

Thanks Unlocker. I have to go to Inverness on Wednesday to meet my new accountant so a visit to Ffordes is most certainly on the cards.
That image leads me to believe that I can get two K5's with grips and three lenses in there. Somehow!
Ffordes have also got a couple of lenses I could well purchase. Either the Pentax 55mmf1.4 or the Sigma 50mm f1.4 and the 17-50mm. Could be an expensive day out.
Once again many many thanks. To all of you for being so helpful
