I've recently become the proud owner of a pentax K-x with 18-55 and
50-200 lenses. I love taking pictures but i am a complete novice having only used compact cameras before!
I will be asking loads of questions on here as although i have read my manual from back to front about 4 times there is so much i don't understand so all help will greatly appreciated.
I have found my way round the camera on auto and have now switched it to manual and thats where i hope to keep it, so if any of you have any basic tips please let me know.

Hi Daphne,
Welcome to the forum.
I'm sure that whatever your questions are about the Pentax range someone on here will know the answer.
Or at least point you in the right direction.

Hi Daphne - I almost always shoot on manual - it's more exciting that way! I love my K-x and I'm sure you'll love yours. It is a fabulous camera and will take you some great pictures if you treat it right.

David
