The Packington design is similar to the Hadley, but it is far larger. Themain advantage is speed of access plus the thinner profile means the bag can be held snugly against the side of the body and remains fairlyt compact to carry. It seems far less bulky than a standard design.
Perhaps a visit to a larger dealer where you could see one would be appropriate. Possibly the larger Jessops or one of the professional dealers.

I have no experience of this bag but I have had my 550 for about 20 years and it looks as good as new. My 5 year old Lowepro is starting to look a little tired. Very much a case of getting what you pay for although I was a little taken aback to see the 550 is now £446! I'm surprised that Billingham dont have interior pictures but why dont you email them? Their customer service is second to none.

Wahey that'll do for me!
Thanks Unlocker. I have to go to Inverness on Wednesday to meet my new accountant so a visit to Ffordes is most certainly on the cards.
That image leads me to believe that I can get two K5's with grips and three lenses in there. Somehow!
Ffordes have also got a couple of lenses I could well purchase. Either the Pentax 55mmf1.4 or the Sigma 50mm f1.4 and the 17-50mm. Could be an expensive day out.
Once again many many thanks. To all of you for being so helpful

I am in the market for a Billingham Packington bag.
I've searched the web at length and cannot find any images of the interior of this bag.
Just on the off chance has anyone got one of these bags that they couldlet me see some images of.
I'd be well chuffed if there was.
