Too many images to name a particular favourite.
The whole range of human emotions are captured very successfully in these pictures.
Therefore to me they are a credit to their authors.

Mmmmm!
I'm going to stick my neck out and say "Not really".
I sometimes refer to books on photography written fifty years ago.
The relationship between ISO (or ASA/DIN as it used to be known) and shutter speed and apertures are
exactly the same now as they were 100 years ago.
Changing the value of one effects the setting of at least one of the others the same way as it does today.
The real differences are the way that sensors work as opposed to film and consequently they display certain
behavioural patterns when processed. Basically film captures light on a light sensitive material coating sensor capture it electronically.
I feel certain that somewhere on the forum lurks a boffin who can probably explain things better.
IMHO if you are interested in learning about, and improving your photography then master the basic technicalities associated with Aperture Shutter and ISO values and effects then you are more than half way there.
The real skill lies in the ability to compose an image, by using ones imagination to a greater or lesser degree.
True photography comes from the heart, not from the latest all singing all dancing piece of oriental gadgetry.
bear in mind however, that all the true great photographers had or indeed have an excellent knowledge of the technicalities of photography. This enables them to exploit their cameras potential to the full and create the images that their imaginations have envisaged.
My advice? read the books, look at images of all sorts. But pay particular attention to images created by the true masters.

Well, for what it's worth I use clickpic and have done so for a number of years.
I'm very happy.
W have the super pro option which allows us to upload lots of photographs in one go via Uberuploader, and you can password protect your clients images.
Coupled to the ability to order on line using paypal it does exactly what we want.

Some burnt out highlights in most shots but all in all I quite like them.
Well done.

Hi Danny,

I like the quirkiness of the first shot but the 2nd one is the one that floats my boat.

Good stuff!

Bought this lens from Milamber (Chris) and had it out to play yesterday just doing indoor still life test shots.
I am totally over the moon with this lens, it is everything it should be and some more.
Yes, wide open it's a wee bit soft at the edges, but used with discretion it will make a terrific portrait lens at weddings. Stop it down a wee bit and hold on to your hat because the quality is astounding. Pin sharp, excellent colour rendition, nice bokeh.
As soon as the weather improves (we're hoping for snow, sorry I'm hoping for snow) I will be out and about giving this lens some serious use.

Thanks for the lens Chris it's stunning and in perfect condition I am very pleased to say the least.

I have to say that my local branch of Jessops (Inverness, round trip of 252 miles) is both blessed and cursed with
it's staff.
Yes, they do have their fair share of numpties and the staff turnover of these appears to be very high.rarely have I seen the same young face twice within a year. And they do seem to favour a particular brand each month.
Their blessing comes in the guise of a gentleman of older years whom I believe is called Dave/David.
He is very knowledgeable, extremely courteous and very patient, especially with those new to the world of photography. I have heard him on a number of occassions ask a customer intelligent questions to help ascertain
exactly what this customer would be better off purchasing. Rather than pushing them towards what the company
are promoting that week.
He is a great asset to Jessops both in the Inverness branch and the corporate whole.
It will be a very sad day when this gentlemen no longer works there.
By the way I have been told admiringly by other members of the branch staff "......well he used to be a professional photographer. So he knows loads and loads about the technical stuff"

I rest my case.

DA 120 -380 might be nice.
The DA* 16-85 will be a definite winner if it's not too slow.
