Pentax 50mm f1.4.

Bought this lens from Milamber (Chris) and had it out to play yesterday just doing indoor still life test shots.
I am totally over the moon with this lens, it is everything it should be and some more.
Yes, wide open it's a wee bit soft at the edges, but used with discretion it will make a terrific portrait lens at weddings. Stop it down a wee bit and hold on to your hat because the quality is astounding. Pin sharp, excellent colour rendition, nice bokeh.
As soon as the weather improves (we're hoping for snow, sorry I'm hoping for snow) I will be out and about giving this lens some serious use.

Even more disappointed that I didn't get to keep it. Good job I didn't try it first by the sound of it or I'd have had a harder time selling it. Perhaps one day when the cat is well.....
