Very nice set.

All good, if I had to pick a favorite it would be No 2.

Thanks for posting this. I have a 16-50 which hardly gets used as the 17_70 is far quicker to focus. The 16-50 does play up occasionally so I may well send this in when funds permit. Like mike I have the 60-250 which I would love to be faster as it would get used far more.

It would be nice if there were more honesty from Pentax about the speed of sdm and if the new parts were a lot faster than offer an upgrade at close to cost. This would make me a happy bunny. The. 300 would also get more use if it were faster.

I have bought more than I have sold but never had any problems other than Royal mail taking 2 weeks to deliver an RMSD item ( I had a tracking number so knew it had been posted and was it in transit)

I always check an individuals history on the forum to try and build a picture and see if theres any feedback on past sales. I would never buy something of someone posting for the first time unless they were close enough to meet in person to deal. When I 've sold stuff I have restricted myself to uk sale, due more to my lack of experience of posting items abroad.

I think all B&W may suit it better or all colour of the second one as
I think I prefer the colour tones on this one more than the first.

Not very keen on a two tone effect but can see what you are trying to achieve with the 2 contrasts.

I will second Carls comment re AF, the Pentax is the slowest to focus of the three. Although the Pentax is better (although still not as quick as the others) with the K5 bodies from my experience.

I have the Mk1 Sigma which is screwdrive so not sure how this compares to the speed of the later HSM models. The screwdrive is quick to focus, although they are hard to find 2nd hand.

The 50-150 has been discontinued in Pentax mount and is also hard to find, expect to pay a premium for this.

The 70-200 is significanly bigger and heavier than the other 2 which may have a bearing on your final choice.

The Pentax has the best IQ but not by much IMO, and if it were a toss up between the 50-135 and 50-150 I would keep the 50-150 purely down to the quicker AF for my type of shooting.

Hi Greg
The first one works well for me and I could imagine this as a very large print to get the full impact of the scene. Looks a little dark on my screen though.

The second one doesn't have the same appeal to me. I think I would prefer to see more field in the shot, at the moment the field and sky seem to be fighting for attention with neither winning. Hope that makes sense.

Some nice shots Andrew, I like the colours under a big sky.
