Bit nervous today...

Wish me the best today fellow forum members as I head off to shoot my wife's friends wedding!

Batteries charged, prefered lenses fitted to cameras, bag contents checked, packed, unpacked and repacked, camera settings checked, tripod, monopod check....is that it?

Whilst nervous, I am quite excited too and there is no going back now!

Good luck, you're braver than I am!

If it helps for a first time though, I'd suggest picking something unconnected with the wedding an hour or so before you go 'on duty' and have a good go at a photo study of it, getting into the groove should help the nerves.

Given your obvious proficiency your best posed shots will come from being relaxed and friendly with people...it makes them smile I speak from experience and I remember how I felt last June when I did my first wedding.

Just relax be yourself and it will flow well.

The first wedding I did - have not done many at all, was in Norway! No coming back if I forgot anything!

Just be confident and positive. YOU are running the show at that time, not the Bride's mother ...

She decided yesterday that she isn't going, so that is one barrier out of the way!
