I'm selling this due to lack of use because when I use a backpack I tend to carry a 70-200 2.8 or larger lens which are too big for this bag.

Excellent condition with very minor signs of use. Sizewise it will hold gripped K5 with attached Pentax 50-135 lens plus room for other lenses / flash etc.

More details of the bag can be found here.

The bag can be worn as a traditional rucksack or like a sling for quick access and I found it worked well. Comes with all weather cover and inserts.

Price £45 posted. Payment by Cheque of bank transfer, bag will be sent on clearence of funds. Will post some photos later.

I've not had my K5ii lock up, however my K5 did lock up once. I was shooting in AF-C mode and high speed continuous shooting with a screw drive lens trying (!) to track birds in flight. It knackered the lenses drive and had to be sent to sigma for repair.

It was as if the camera couldn't cope with the constantly changing focus and trying to fire the shutter at the same time. I don't use AF-C now but gently press the shutter button constantly to keep tracking something and have not had a lock up since on K5 or K5ii (K5 lock up was about 18 months ago and I've taken 1000's of pics with it since).

Were you using AF-C ?

I bought my Sigma 100-300 F4 from SRS from the remaining stock and it was £810 brand new in July 2010. (still have the reciept)

At the time I couldn't find it anywhere else in stock, glad I bought it as its a great lens.

I can imagine other brands 2nd hand are also cheaper due to the Sigma 120-300 being available which I understand was seen as the replacement for the 100-300.

Some nice shots, 5th and 11th are my favorites.

Re 60-250, I have this and wouldn't use it for motorsport. It has a lovely IQ but I find it too slow to focus when panning or where a car spins off and you need a quick shot.

I have both and they are very different beasts.

The main advantages of the Q are size and looks. It is a very capable camera but if your 2 sons and wife are going to use it they may find the K01 easier.

The advantages of the K01 are in my eyes, same sensor as k5 (far more forgiving than the Q and easier to blur the backgroundd due to DOF, high ISO excellent), same batteries as K7/5, K mount (I see you have a 21, 40 and 70 and although I don't have the 21, the small primes are great on the K01, the 18-55 should be fine with it, I've used the 17-70 on mine with no problems).

You may prefer the Q but I think the kids/wife will find the K01 easier to use.

Shaun (Puma) is trying to swop one for a lens, maybe worth giving him a PM to see if he would sell it / split it up. Alternatively SRS have white bodies for £99 but you may struggle to source the prime on its own.

Good price on amazon.
