all superb....difference is as much as 65mm, if you don't want to shoot at longer than 135mm then the answer is down to the 50-135/50-150 otherwise the 70-200 is a very good buy...

Depends what you are shooting, if you need fast focussing then forget the pentax, if you are shooting portrsits then pentax Ll the way

The latest AP has a test of 70-200mm f/2.8 lenses. This suggests that the Tamron lens is rather better than the Sigma. No equivalent Pentax lens of course.

But i want a converter to , and the only brand it till have a converter in the markt is Sigma ,
the converter sigma 1,7 it will work well in the Pentax 50-135mm f2,8 ?

Kenko x1.5 shq the one to go for it does work with sdm, the sigma doesnt.

I think you may have misunderstood - some of the answers - you say you choose Pentax because of the better AF - this is not correct - the Sigma AF is much faster than the Pentax (at least it is on the 50-150 that I own.Hello

Also - just to be very clear - all of the TCs will work manually but there are very few that will AF on HSM or SDM lenses - Those that will AF include The Kenko 1.5shq (as mentioned above) plus the Tamron 1.4x AF PZ MC4 and the Jessop MC 2x Pz/AF.

I will second Carls comment re AF, the Pentax is the slowest to focus of the three. Although the Pentax is better (although still not as quick as the others) with the K5 bodies from my experience.
I have the Mk1 Sigma which is screwdrive so not sure how this compares to the speed of the later HSM models. The screwdrive is quick to focus, although they are hard to find 2nd hand.
The 50-150 has been discontinued in Pentax mount and is also hard to find, expect to pay a premium for this.
The 70-200 is significanly bigger and heavier than the other 2 which may have a bearing on your final choice.
The Pentax has the best IQ but not by much IMO, and if it were a toss up between the 50-135 and 50-150 I would keep the 50-150 purely down to the quicker AF for my type of shooting.

yes you have reason , the sigma af is very fast, but the Pentax sdm is not so fast lihe hsm?
And to find in Portugal some especial zoon lense for Pentax is not easy when you need a lense with F2,8 in 50-150mm or 70-200mm even from other brands, in second hand.
the Sigma 70-200mm lens is an excellent, but very heavy and is not practical.
Second chance is the Sigma 50-150mm very rare to find, the new bayonet has no K for Pentax.
and finally the Pentax 50-135mm I have a person who wants to sell a good price, and wanted to know your opinion about it better, or should I wait and look for other lenses from Sigma.

If you can live without 136-200mm then you won't be disappointed by the Pentax lens....

I come here asking for help in choosing a lens:
Sigma 50-150mm F2, 8 - Sigma 70-200mm F2, 8
or
SMC Pentax-DA * 50-135mm f/2.8 ED [IF] SDM
What they think is the best?
I have a mortgage of up to adquerir Pentax in hand 2, and the remaining sigma tb ..
but I wonder what is your opinion on these lenses.
