I know I claimed not to be covering F1 any more - and that remains the case in terms of full-time attendance - but it looks as though I'll be present at a few more events than I'd imagined...

Nice! Glad to see Kimi back on top. I love how that guy is like a machine, you put him in a car and say go. His post race interviews are amusingly monotone etc

Melbourne didn't appear to turn on the weather this year but it still put on an interesting race. 2014 sees all new engines so that's really going to shake things up a bit more than the evolutionary cars we have presently. Glad to see the season under way again!

Gotta be #8 for me. Typifies an action shot in a fast paced sport. Though the Jenson Button shot is great too...

Number 8 is a corker ( as usual) shutter speed is balanced just nicely to get enough detail in the inters, but with a sense of movement.
But I love the capture of Button.
Getting there! Thanks to you guys

I like the jets, the excellent portraits of Jenson and the grid girl appealed to my wife Trish and I respectively

Thanks to numbers 3 and 4, I've just got an image of Jenson Button winning in a JCB!

Thanks for those, Simon

All great photos. I like Melbourne: had 6 months working there a good many years ago - before they began F1 racing.

Terrific mementos of what looks to have been an engrossing day! #8 is a particularly outstanding photo IMO

Tremendous shots as usual Simon!
Particularly like #8...just the right amount of blur and the viewpoint really accentuates the negative camber on the Sauber's front wheels!
