Here are a few from todays meeting at Curborough Sprint.

K5 + 60-250 DA*

I'm still unsure about using this lens for motorsport, I know it's not the fastest focusing lens but I thought I'd have more 'keepers' than I ended up with.

I used it at a few meetings last season and to be honest I wasn't that impressed with the quality of some of the images I was getting.

Not quite as sharp as you usual stuff, but still
very good shots. There doesn't seem to be much DOF.

I like the MGA best

Half Man... Half Pentax ... Half Cucumber

Pentax K-1 + K-5 and some other stuff

Have you tried manual focusing, pre-focusing on a position on the track and releasing the shutter just before the car arrives there?

Some nice shots, 5th and 11th are my favorites.

Re 60-250, I have this and wouldn't use it for motorsport. It has a lovely IQ but I find it too slow to focus when panning or where a car spins off and you need a quick shot.
