i am also surprised by the K-3 lead in the poll, considering there are already 3000+ people voted. did all the pentaxian had a secret meeting to make sure the k-3 stays on top?

Hello, I am looking for the Pentax 39100 AA Battery Holder-Adapter D-BH109, suitable for my K-30, I am seeking out the original Pentax version, ideally with the original box as well. if you have one to sell, please let me know.

I am also seeking for the Manfrotto MKC3-H01 Compact Tripod, if anyone happens to have one.

thank you for looking.

I got this edition (jan) as well, saw the cover with northern lights, was hoping it would have guide for shooting the lights, however, there was no article about it inside, was a bit disappointed really.

saw it, put in a cheeky order for the DA 300 f/4 for my up coming iceland trip. i doubt they will honor it thou, remember the fuss with the discounted lens in america in august? anyway, you don't know until you try i guess.

Hello everyone,

I am not sure should i put this in here, or the lens chat. anyway,

I finally got myself a DA 12-24 f/4 lens for the upcoming field trip. however, i am not sure what type of polariser should i pick up.

my main concern is vignetting, so i guess my question is should i purchase a slim version of a CPL? or would a normal CPL be ok?

so this one?
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00009R9E1/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A3GI79VBNSVFZI

or this one?

thank you so much for everyone's input.

You will definitely need a tripod. You will need to push your ISO and have the lens as wide as possible and even then you will need to have it on bulb and exposure time over 10 seconds. I was in Iceland earlier this month and I got some nice shots at 15 seconds at 18mm at f3.5 ISO 800. And yes, it was very cold at night. Though, with windchill it was an effective -10 at the geysir.
thank you for the tip!
