i'm still in the process of deciding on a macro lens. i'm currently having a play with a raynox dcr-250 with mixed results. i think its more my ability or lack of it and experience at the moment.

these shots you have here are stunning and the credit goes all to you.
but if you dont mind me asking what set up did you use.
i know with using a raynox it would be bordering on the impossible to get that depth of field.

well if you dont need the money and gonna hit them with a hammer. send them my way i'm having to make do with f series lenses. nikon and canon maybe more popular but pentax just as stealable as i found out.

you think its a joke but tony northrup posted a review of the k1on youtube and then had to post a second video defending his review because the pentax lynch mob came out even after him saying its the best landscape dslr he has ever used.

i like the first one. when you see 50's pictures on tv especially american they tend to have the grey look.

a bit of added grain and you have 50's conspiracy area 51 type of photo.

many many thanks for all the replies. i think i've got a little more research to do before i take the plunge. there are pro's and cons to each option.

Mike-p took your advice and while i'm deciding ive bagged myself a raynox dcr-250 off amazon. ive got plenty of old glass that it should give a new lease of life too.
