I always export images as sRGB for using on the web as it is more likely that people will see the correct thing on all Browsers and OSs.

I have to say an evening out, using this combo, did make me get a twitchy finger on the SRS website when I looked at the FA 50mm f/1.4. Should I...?

I'm feeling exactly the same, just can't really work as well with the lack of autofocus. I'm sorely tempted but there is going to be an DA* 55mm F1.4 SDM, unfortunately no clue when. Secondly I really want some sharper and faster zooms so the DA*s are calling to me and saying don't get anything else. I've just got my K10D and have already doubles by list of lenses to get for it.

I use 800 for the largest dimension which works quite well. Not to small that someone with a high resolution screen can't see much and not big enough to be annoying for anyone with a low res screen.

I'd prefer to use 1024, but that can cause problems.

There is a slight purple hue to the image, but I hadn't really noticed in the bright daylight earlier.

Well, my only critique is that it is too good and makes me look bad

Only on screen in Lightroom, it is much better than the old FujiFilm S20Pro (especially noise wise). I just expected to be able crop images a little more, the detail when looking at the inner 2MP on screen isn't quite as good as I'd have liked.

Blending when printed is better, but when examined closely you can see that there is a little lack of detail.

As soon as I put on the old A-50 1.7 the sharpness improves significantly. Shame it is only manual focus as this can really slow things down. I use it for portrait, still life and low light shots where I have time to focus.

Because I can't get any

I found:
http://www.bdimitrov.de/kmp/lenses/zooms/long/FA70-200f4-5.6.html
relatively cheap but have not decided if it would be any good on a K10D.

I really want to have the weather sealing on my K10D functional with the DA* lenses though. Was caught out in the rain today, had to very quickly put all equipment away in my backpack.

I've had my K10D for a few days now and I've been plating with the DA18-55F3.6-5.6 and the DA50-2004-5.6 and found that the sharpness is not particularly good, even at F10-16.

I'd like to be able to crop some of them as 200mm (300equivalent) isn't quite good enough to get within shooting distance for birds. Unfortunately, there seems to be a wide are and quite a lot of soft edges. I know this usually improves when printing, but not really that much when you print a large image.

I really can't wait for the DA* lenses.

I must say results are still reasonably good considering the price of the lenses.

(I always shoot RAW and work in Lightroom)

Nice Metz flash there, shame it only works on manual with the K10D.
