Thanks for the info. I was disapointed that it would not fit. Optically, it is brilliant.
I did have the A version but could not get on with it and sold it, but this one looks to be optically better, maybe it is just me.
This one is in mint condition complete with case and, perhaps, could be for a collector.
What would the asking price be? can I ask.

I have just obtained a Pentax right angle viewer that I presumed was the Ref-converter A. All though clearly marked Pentax it does not fit onto Pentax bodies. It does not have the switch between one or two diopter adjustment but rather the viewpiece turns to adjust.
I am guessing that this was maade for a different camera body but cannot find any reference to it. Can anyone enlighten me, please?

Just finished a two week cruise up the Norwegian coast. The cruise liner had two thousand passengers. At every stop were other cruise liners visiting the towns. I never saw another pentax camera the whole trip.
The 'professional photographer' on the cruise ship took one look at my k5 and commented that Pentax make good film cameras. I felt someone real special to be sporting a Pentax camera.

Also vote for Optech but rather the version that lets you keep the camera sat on your chest with instant use of the camera.

Interestingly, this butterfly was perched on the daffodil bud and was barely noticed it fitted in colour wise so perfectly.
I was photographing the daffodils and just wondered what it was that was sticking up in the air.
This butterfly remained on this bud for the whole day. When the sun went round behind it I then took shots from the front.
It then opened its wings. I dashed around to take shots of it with the wings open, and, you guessed it. Just as I started to focus, up it flew.
Another butterfly was flying nearby. Guess it either wanted to get aquainted or wanted to scarper, being female.
They both stayed around for a long while and I did eventually get a shot of the female with its wings open.
Not a specie I am used to seeing in my garden. A once in a lifetime opportunity.

With this within reach, why would you want to go anywwhere else? I am simply jealous of your access to such inspiring scenery.
Whichever way I go just ten miles and I see the sea and not that inspiring at all and it costs an arm and a leg to cross that sea.
In your shoe's I would be counting my lucky stars.
Magical pics,by the way. You have a very good eye for a picture

Why to investigate radio control rather that IR. I believe the IR flashes and can scare the intended target.
Never tried this with cif but it is worth investigating.
I can set it up outside and then sit indoors and watch and fire away at any bird feeding on the target area. I fire three shots to capture flight movement. It can activate through walls and windows and has a good range.
