Matt's solution is potentially very clever - Cathedral uses your images as part of its published material and you get to sell the images - the exposure for which will be greatly increased by the Cathedral at no cost to you. Spin off from this will potentially mean sales of other images from your web site that you might not of otherwise acheived.

Guess it's a chance worth seriously considering - probably means shelling out for a Pro web set up that will handle image sales for you. But if you've got a library with sellable images in it, then may be worth a punt.

Check the sellers neutral and negative feed backs - suggests products may be grey imports.

If it comes up again Bernard, try Faststone's Resizer. It's also freeware and easy to use. Can select what ever criteria is prefered - file size or pixels on an edge.

Glad the suggested route found favour.

I've spent a large part of my working life sat behind the wheel of a car racing from home to some distant point and back again in a day. Hated staying over - worst place was Gretna - Travel Lodge there was particularly soleless in my experience. Give me a run down hotel in town every time rather than a Travel Lodge.

A nicer run is the route that takes you down to Bridgenorth, skirting Droitwich and picks up the M5 at the Worcester N junction. Never found the M6 very attractive and the though of that section from Walsall to the M5 junction and on to Bromsgrove - .It's not that much slower in my experience.

Only about 6 cars on the front area (and 3 4x4 parked by the toilets) when I got there at about 2pm. Changed my plans and attacked it your route - up the pass to Abergwesyn and then looped round to Llyn Brianne.

Found a good spot just down from one of the minor water management sites not far from the western end of the Devils Staircase.

Got back just before 5 pm - a little under 2hrs 20mins.

I had an earlier version of the Tokina which bought in summer 1982 and used with my ME Supers. I liked the range and it was adequate for my needs at the time - I shot mainly colour print film , none of which were ever enlarged beyond 7 x 5. I didn't keep any record of what lens was used for which image, so I can't look at anything in my archive to get a real feel for IQ. How it compares IQ wise with other lens of similar focal range I can't say. Both these makes were sold at a significant discount to the Pentax equivalent - the SMC A 70-210. Moving these lenses onto digi bodies does highlight the quality variances far more than film ever did.

Both should fit modern Pentax bodies OK and be no problem with your MZ6. Metering also will be less of an issue as they are both configured as A series lenses.

I've just had a couple of roll mops - first course of a pate roll, G & T and can of larger didn't quite fill all the corners...

Matt - as you say, I'll come at it from the Llandovery direction. Printed off this page to take with me so I don't miss anything. Home route looks to be via BW and the A470 > Talgarth > A479 > Crickhowell. As its free to leave Wales, prob take the shorter leg via the Severn Bridge rather than loop back up to Glos.
