Bump!
When I said that this sounds good to me, I was not aware that I would probably not be able to drive anywhere over the 14th-15th of May.
The peak time for shots of bluebell woods is when the flowers are out - the rest of the year it's one big trough.
So, I'm hoping for the 7th/8th.

Suggested meeting spot is grid ref 4138 1658 (best viewed on OS Explorer map 157). This is marked as a bridleway open to all traffic from the unclassified road which runs from Fyfield on the A4 down towards Adams Grave with the junction with the link road from nr West Kennet.
Parking is possible off the bridleway - the parked parking area down towards the t junction's a bit of a trek and not necessary if we get there reasonably early.
Assuming weather not reverted to monsoon, then track is good going for those with restricted mobility. Bluebells were pretty dense here in 09, so don't have to wade far into the woods to get good shots.
Dates - my OP suggested May BH i.e. 2nd May. Spring this year seems to be per normal schedule, so should be about right.
If the bluebells aren't great, alternatives include Adams Grave, Avebury and/or Fyfield Down (grey wethers)

If the 'meet' is open to all-comers, including those that inhabit the roots of the photographic evolutionary tree, then I'll join you.Are their any takers for a meet 2nd May?

Jon - of course your welcome! Open invitation to all and any PUs in the area (or even passing through!) Nice if there were a few more than just the 3 of us.
Can offer transport from Bath if that helps anyone.

Steve, could you confirm the grid ref please.
I hope to make it but am a little confused. This is the West wood about 1-2k south of Fyfield?
