I've used olive oil on sun bleached motor car rubber trim before and it works wonders. Doesn't last long outside in sunlight mind but used sparingly it will bring old dried out rubber back to life.

Released yesterday at a cost of $14.99.

A good 314 page supplement to the meagre manual.

No idea how good they are but you can buy led ring flashes on eBay pretty cheaply.

SRS also give you a three year warranty.

That said I've bought from DR before and had great service from them, delivery is very quick and they answer questions promptly.

Thanks for that dcweather, it's occurred to me that I'm imagining it which is why I asked for others opinions.

My first Pentax was an ME Super and I literally wore it out, moved on to a 645 film camera and loved it but digital was calling. Film was becoming too expensive and Pentax at the time didn't make a digital camera at all so I moved to the dark side througn Nikon and up the ranks of Canon dslrs. I was never happy or comfortable with them and took a leap of faith, bought a K-r and was so immediately happy with it I sold up all the Canon gear.
It's down to the feel of the camera and the intuitiveness of the controls for me, Pentax just 'feels right'.

Come on people!!! Stop fawning over this stuff. Without it's acid trip editing it's mediocre.
1. I think your monitor is squint.

2. Your opinion of this photographers work is just that, your opinion, don't presume to tell me what I should or shouldn't like. If you really must point out examples of work you think is better at least find something relevant, i.e. a contemporary landscape photographer.
