Really nice! Now that you've got the technical part right, get the composition right
Lower your camera almost or at the level of the water.
Do not shoot from sooo above.
Nice job!
I had a go at lowering the angle of the camera as you can see in the third picture, it was difficult though as it was handheld and by that time it was almost time to wrap things up for the day.

C&C Welcome. I had to make do with the on board flash as I don't have a proper flash yet.

I think I may have found a solution which is to get either the Tamron SP 10-24mm f3.5-4.5 Di II or something similar and also a flash. That would solve the lighting issue and also allow me to have a wide angle lens at a higher f stop to get as much focus possible in the shot.

I'm looking for a wide angle lens for the near future. I've been searching around myself but couldn't find one with the specs that I have in mind.

I'm looking for one which has at least some range e.g. 10-20mm or something similar. It needs to be at least f2.8 continuous, reason behind this is because I was in a restaurant with low light and my 18mm at f3.5 just wasn't good enough and I realised the importance of a lower f stop.

It must be AF as well, thanks in advance for any advice and help.

A few pictures from a day out at Oldbury Court, Bristol. Most were taken with the 55-300 and one with the kit lens. C&C always welcome.
