"Not going to school" works great for me!

While I do agree #4 is a great image/portrait, I appreciate the "difference" in the last one best. It was a great idea to have asked them if they would do the shoot other than in riding clothes, and a good call on her part to ride with you on that idea!

There's a sense of calmness in 4, 5 and 9 which appeal to me.

Majestic is the word that comes to mind whenever a stag crosses my path (which happens fairly often where I live). Image #3 is a cracker!

A few images from the Yves St Laurent foundation in Paris. The exhibit when we went was devoted to YSL's passion for asian art and culture, which, like many other passions, made its way into his fashion collections. Much of the exhibit design was on the dark side (I suppose to better show off the glitter in this collection), to my wife's dismay (a seamstress likes to get up close under good light!). I found it graphically rather interesting...

YSL's office and desk, at which my wife would have loved to sit for a few hours, soaking in the vibe... But cross the line and off goes the alarm... (no, she didn't try, but others...). I wish I had taken a more open shot of the office, as it is quite large (there are 3 desks like this one, which you only see half of) and luminous, with an extraordinary library of art and culture (from all over the world) books, and gives off a general feeling of intense work and serenity combined.

I agree with Chris - #2 is an excellent image, thanks to all that wonderful foliage!

The b+w is a bit over the top for me, I'm afraid - I much prefer the version just above it, which subtly gives strength to the subject by placing it in context and giving it breathing room... and letting it make its way to the viewer (well, this viewer anyway) all on its own...

The point of view shows the cliff in a most telling manner. Quite an impressive piece of geology!

Nice set, and a landscape I'd be happy to spend some time in. I'm partial to #1, for the way it promises there's more to be seen after the next couple of turns...

Interesting to see the difference in rendering of the two lenses, the 50 seems to give a somewhat sentimental, warmer look than the 20 - something more matter-of-fact with the latter. Both are fine to look at (I would probably spend more time in contemplation of the 50 shots, for the rêverie), thanks to the photographer.

Thanks Bill, 1 & 9 are the two that have more of 'me' in them, I'm happy they come across more strongly.
