There's a dynamic flow to the first image which works quite well for me.

Great subject matter there, nicely seen.

Lovely flowers, indeed!

Lovely set. The strong lines in #4 certainly make a statement, echoing the softer ones in #2; and #1 has a gentle flowing movement to it which is very pleasing.

I'm with the consensus - #1 works best for me, especially because of the quirkiness in that backpacked sunflower and the colours in the character's jacket. He seems to be texting the flower, which in turn seems to be trying to talk to him... I think they might both be strong enough to warrant cutting out the negative space and cropping to a square...

Ring of steel for me, too - Awaiting Development and Rooflines being strong runners up. For my taste, Rooflines might benefit from the same processing as Awaiting. All three are great compositions.

I suppose that is so - at the very least, there is definitely something to be felt everywhere, if one chooses to let those feelings flow. I'm inclined to believe that does equate more or less to some form of beauty.

Number 1 for me, just for the beauty in its simplicity.
Thanks, Gareth and Philip. It's always great to have different people preferring different images - makes you feel they're all decent!

The first image holds the most interest for me - plenty of well composed information. And a round of appreciation is in order for 5 also.

I like them all, you certainly did well to capture these. I particularly enjoy what I'd call the more personal, or inventive, views in 3, 6 and 7.

Thank you Lenny, some will certainly end up hanging on a wall (my own, I'd wager) .
