Probably something of a minority interest subject matter but, the lines, the lay of the land and the light just drew me in.
Comments and observations welcome.

Okay, that's enough potato field shots for one year

1 & 2 are lovely. They might also look good in mono.

Very nice too, nothing wrong with potato fields!

I like them all, you certainly did well to capture these. I particularly enjoy what I'd call the more personal, or inventive, views in 3, 6 and 7.

Even a potato field can be exciting. These are first class.
Both the *istDS and the K5 are incurably addicted to old glass

1,3 and 6 I personally like but they're all great. 👍

You didn't need to apply any effects for me - the natural shots make great abstracts.

Thank you all for popping by, having a look and commenting. Funny the things that sometimes catch our eye.

No effects as such added, the blurred ones 3, 6 and 7 are ICMs. I was using a tripod and simply made a horizontal pan during exposure.

I'll try some in B&W and see what I think. Thanks for the idea.

Really like these! Love all those lines, especially 1 and 5 where they come in from a corner of the frame

Well done for seeing them

“A good see” for sure, all striking abstracts but #1 is a super image Nigel; very well captured and composed.

That's a superb set of a simple subject - who'd have thought you could get 9 really good images of a potato field - keep 'em coming Nigel

Super set Nigel... 1,2 and 4 for me... low light and strong graphic lines... always partial to spot of ICM too...

Best
