A few more from our stay in Berlin - an evening outside the Technikmuseum, which had organized an astronomy night (Jupiter and Saturn were framing the moon that night), including an interesting exhibit of photographs from the Apollo lunar missions. I don't do astrophotography, so I wandered around and settled for artificial lighting to try and capture a bit of the atmosphere...

Thank you Bill, Berlin is such a strong city, visually - in its own way. It certainly makes one look at it differently than, say, Venezia, or Paris...

11 is the gem for me. Subject, composition, light, dynamics - it's all there. A true classic.

Options would be best, of course... I am personally fine with the current layout, actually appreciate it very much - easy on my eyes. White on a dark/black background hurts my eyes so much I simply skip any site that uses such a layout (if I need some important piece of info on it I'll turn the page style off, and hope it will be worth it). As for displaying photographs, adding a frame can give one the background they need (I add a white frame to my photos, as that's closest to how I show them in print). That's an easy workaround, but for the site layout proper, I have no idea how difficult it can be to offer options...

An evocative, eclectic set of photos, Bill. Yes, 14 and 15 are stunning, brilliantly composed - their very busy-ness offering a platform for meditative concentration - yet also an almost ironic take on picture postcards. The minimalist approach to 3, 5 and 7 is easier on my mind, and lets me roam more freely... The gull adds a touch of humour to 7, making it (at this moment) my favorite (plus, it makes me think of Gaston Lagaffe's pet gull - I don't know if Lagaffe comics have been translated to english though, so the name might not mean anything to you).

A great find, very well spotted - and exposed. The dynamics in 1 work best for me, gets the imagination running...

The leaf-on-a-rock series is striking - no favourite, they all work well for me.
