I'll agree with Steve's quoting of Joe Cornish concerning landscape details - 1, 2 and 12 stand out for me, and feel more like how Bill Ward would go about photographing that location

Definitely with you on that. Although, to my after-the-fact surprise, I sometimes manage to create my own bubble of tranquility within the madding crowd...... much prefer a bit of isolation and quiet, quality time...

Peter, the reflections simply cannot be ignored, they are everywhere (plus, I am always looking for them anyway). They offer such a great way of looking at reality from another perspective...

John, I'm happy you've found interest in the more 'traditional' images - those are the ones that I mentioned as being out of my comfort zone

Very much enjoying these, Nigel. They capture what I like best a photograph to capture: a sense of feeling, an infra-reality of sorts... 1 & 4 in particular are strong in that regard. 2 & 5 seem to be sidestepping the view (and that is a very good thing), and 3 lets the imagination run wild. 7 echoes 1 in a way, and is a fine landscape. Great set!

I totally agree with Bill above, 1-5 are a really great set. 2 & 5 are particularly strong to my eyes.

I appreciate the way you chose to expose these images - and the ensuing feeling of tranquility. 'La force tranquille', as said one of François Mitterrand's presidential campaigns way back when.
