I'm sure there will be lots of fun to be had if you make this a long-winded project, Peter. I like 1 & 3 better, as they concentrate more on the subject/reflection relationship. I particularly like how the mirror in 3 discreetly brings in just a hint of high-hanging leaves over the imposing branches/roots in the foreground. Planning to keep at it?

I like these types of thin DOF shots and your focus stacks equally - the focus stacks are studies in natural beauty, these are studies in life. This critter is really reaching out!

Couldn't have said it better myself.

Lovely feeling in that photograph. Whenever I see hay bales I see photo opportunities, but haven't come up with anything quite as satisfying as this yet.

Nice little sequence. I'm alright with spiders as long as they don't crawl over me (and as long as I'm in northern Europe).

Fine images there. Interesting how industrial 'warts' in a landscape can lead to good-looking photographs/paintings/art... Second and last in particular for me.

Thank you, David. I have to admit the two phrases: 'where is Serge?' and 'don't worry, he'll be catching up' must have come up a few times out of earshot for me...

Thank you, Bill. It was fun seeking these out.

Once again, some real gems in this set, Bill. 2 is grand by its composition, and its contrast between rock and sea/sky. But especially, it is a powerful homage to nature, in which I see a stone God-bird on the lookout, protecting its Sea-creation, or perhaps summoning grace and beauty from it... maybe in the form of the Wave-dolphin appearing in 3, as it takes the measure of the Granite-earth thundering above! And 6 & 9 are fabulously abstract renderings of Time taking part in the shaping of things to come (and go, of course). Very inspiring!
