Looks a splendid place to visit, LennyBloke - do you have images of the interior? 2 & 4 have my preference, 4 being quite a clever catch.

Serge, why am I not surprised that you would be attracted to the telegraph poles?! (But I'm glad you were, as I hoped they form a kind of frame for the panorama in the evening sunlight.)

Well, to me they are the subject of your image, the storytellers of sorts, with the lines coming in and out at the sides, and diving into the earth in the middle. The cows don't have a clue... Or just don't care...

Hello all. The natural history museum in La Rochelle was my first post-lockdown museum visit this summer. As they generally do, the museum offered a plentiful supply of shapes, lights, and shadows - photographic inspiration galore.

Lovely countryside, well captured. 1 & 7 in particular, but I also like the poles in 3.

It seemed quite fine to me, until LennyBloke above brought the cloth to my attention. Just kidding - I like it very much.

Two very different takes on the same capture - great job on both, Gareth. The coulours are beautiful in 1, the shapes and textures strongly present in 2.

Not an easy task to make this type of landscape pano shine in b+w, Kris. The lines in the field are the detail that makes it work for me.

As said above, the second image offers some pretty funky bokeh (which is good). The tiny plane of focus works well on the whole set, but the first image really zeroes in on it, with a beautiful background to boot.
