After completing my set of DA* Lens I have to let this little beauty go. 'Little' is the word as it is 'compact', light and a great 'One size fits all' Lens (Lumix LX100 does that work for me now).

Excellent, unmarked and no dust.

£ 175 plus P&P (Paypal or Cash collect)

I had a really nice shot from my early *ist DS (6 Mb) of an early winters morning that I had on a large canvas print (100 x 70). By using the canvas and mounting behind museum glass it masked the lower resolution and gave a great image (even though I say myself)....... but I still went ended up with a K3 (it's infectious!)

Persevere...I too upgraded from K5. Camera is better (but to be fair also upgraded the lens to some DA*)

I find the time it takes to display the pictures on screen is VERY slow so now do not do this automaticity. Give it a go it may allow faster shots.

So that dispels the statements that you shouldn't use a convertor on a zoom lens. Very impressed.

I am thinking of extending range with the 1.7x Teleconvertor. Reading some reviews it suggests that this is primarily designed for 'prime' lenses. Is this the case and any one got comments. I assume it takes the AF function from the lens and takes control..

I just had a similar problem with a new K3. It had a small mark on sensor and tried to blow away but I managed to put more stuff in there (used an old blower that was probably perished inside!) I must say SRS did a sterling job and actually got Pentax Service Centre to do it under warranty. (I had blown dust into the pentaprism area)

I was also surprised when I went to Jessops in Milton Keynes and picked up a new blower that they offer clean while you wait (at a premium price or cheaper if you want to wait a day..) all prices certainly where affordable considering the sensitive sensor situation.
