If you wish creative control to be taken from your hands then why not hire a photographer to capture the image for you ? Or visit a stock agency & download one ?

You need to get them hosted so that you can then use the url, you can't link to images on your drive.

Shaky, I think Exmor R is a different sensor design to regular Exmor.

I think it's probably best to wait for some samples or a review of either the K-x or Sony A500 to see how this sensor performs. Although I have a suspicion that it is the same sensor as used in the Nikon D90, so it has the potential to be very good indeed.

I know there's been some discussion about the manual focus 85mm f/1.4's made by this company on here before (also branded as Falcon, Vivitar & rokinon amongst others)

Just thought I'd mention that there is a 14mm f2.8 due in November. It probably wont interest the digi-only guys but may interest the film users here as it has an aperture ring & covers the 35mm frame.

Some early sample shots here , which actually make me want to return to Krakow for a visit !

The articles headline is Trail Tech but the products appear to be made by a company called Trek Tech.

Here's a link to the UK distributors site

Jacobs & Warehouse Express are probably the biggest online sellers.

I've no experience of these products by the way, just trying to help. It probably shows that I spend far too much time on the net too.

I think the general consensus is: Tamron - sharp but sufferers purple fringing (especially at long end) Sigma APO: Soft at larger apertures (especially at the long end) Sigma non APO: as APO but softer still & less contrast.

I'm sure someone will be along to confirm or disprove these comments shortly & no doubt recommend a Pentax 55-300mm, although it doesn't focus as close.

P.S. None of them will be a patch on the 105 IQ wise. Do you need 300mm or just looking for a pseudo Macro lens ?

Bob

edit: Or someone will beat me to posting whilst I waffle !

28mm was too long for me at the wide end which is why I decided to sell the Tamron, but I think it was much sharper at wider apertures than the Sigma which I also had later.
You can also achieve less depth of field as it remains at f2.8 to 75mm.
