Image into post

So having just tried to put an image into a new topic and FAILED misserably...how is it done?

Images are on my drive not url..

You need to get them hosted so that you can then use the url, you can't link to images on your drive.

Err have to load them onto the site first and with Trek its one image per day....only joking. Just pop one up ther in a minute and give it a try.

Multitasking talking to the wife on Skype videocall, chatting here and trying to load a pic.

Ended up with a link?? No embeded picture. Hmmmm, maybe time for a shower and bed.

Right click the image in your link & select properties.
Highlight & copy the url of the picture (ends in .jpg)
Click the "Image" button when posting & then paste the .jpg url between the img tags.

Just tried three times. Manged to copy properties...ending in .jpg, clicked image button, pasted between. ZILCH!

It's obviously not for me is this function. ::arrow: bed...

Maybe Treklens don't allow hotlinking ?
Photobucket.com definately do.

As for GL's suggestions, that is also viable. Just don't let Martin catch you uploading any old stuff !

Simple tasks that cause frustration!
