London Camera Exchange in Plymouth is listed as a Pentax dealer, they might get the lenses in the store for you from their 'fulfilment centre'. Prices are a bit high though so maybe have to do some bargaining.

I am with you there John, I am looking for a wide FF lens for landscape; considering the new 15-30mm but it won't take filters and anyway a prime would be much lighter.

Old thread I know, but here's my pennyworth. Having just swopped my Sigma 150-500 lens for the Pentax 150-450, I found I needed to get a sling strap (the Sigma had one attached to the tripod mount). The other issue I never resolved is that the Pentax strap on the camera body would dangle loose and get in the way when attached to the Sigma. So I buzzed over to Premier Inks and settled on a Peak Design slide strap, it looks and feels robust and I like that I can attach one end to the lens tripod mount and the other to the camera so it doesn't feel as if one is carrying the weight of the other and straining the mount. However, having removed the Pentax strap from the camera body to fit the Peak clips I found that the strap is far too bulky and stiff if left on the camera to fit in my walk-around camera case. So, for when I don't need the big telephoto I am off to get Peak's links which will fit onto the Pentax strap and should give the best of both worlds. What do others use for their big lenses?

I don't know what you mean, it's working fine here and there are still regular contributions. What is the point of a camera forum without photos?

If I were to trade in a lens or lenses on these offers would the value offered be the same as traded against normal price?

As the subjects will be static you will be able to use longer exposures, so you can concentrate on getting a flat even lighting without bothering about high luminosity from flash. I have read that pixel shift is best processed by the Ricoh software packaged with the camera rather than Photoshop et al. Looking forward to seeing results on a link!

Ordered one today from SRS - along with DFA 24-70mm and DFA 70-200mm.
Sold some shares before current events hit - and I also think prices may go up soon.
Should have bought your shares back on Friday morning and waited until today; wish I had!

I know from frustrating experience how hard it is to get really sharp images even with such good kit, so well done for a good eye and steady hand.

I see that it manages to incorporate a flash as well as wifi which is more than can be said for the K-1. I recognise that 'serious' photographers scorn built-in flash but it is a useful trigger for off-camera flash units as well as keeping your kit light and compact which this K-70 is aimed at doing. Looks another winner!
