All good but I like no. 3 best, it conveys real atmosphere.

Thanks Gareth. Yes I had to stand behind a barrier and couldn't get an oblique shot or looking up the swim lanes as there were distance marker flags strung across the pool. I will crop out the wheel in that shot though. That new 70-200 f2.8 would have been handy!

Here are a few from a heat in Solihull today for pentathletes. Taken with K-1 and mostly Sigma 150-500 in poor lighting so high ISOs. The lad in all the pics is the National under-17s Pentathlon champion - my grandson!

I do not see the important "AW" or " WR" in the lens description.
Time yet for clarification or

To inform Ricoh of our thoughts.

Regards.
That's because it is a generic description, without aperture or focal length either. And the map doesn't include the latest compact zoom so maybe there will be more surprises; seems to be the Ricoh way to give long range teasers and then new products out of the blue.

The 2016-7 roadmap shows four new single focus lenses in 2017, ultra wide-angle, large aperture wide angle, standard and medium telephoto, plus a fisheye zoom. Sound familiar? Replacements/updates for the venerable FA Limited range? I have been thinking of adding one or two but would it be worth holding off until next year? They would hopefully be of the same quality but with updated focusing and WR and new coatings and at the price of these lenses I am only doing it once.

Just received back my Sigma 150-500 from LCE with a shiny new mount, designed with a bevel to keep the outer edge of the mount away from the camera body. Not bad service and no charge.

The EOS 1D was a professional body, am I right? May I ask what prompted the change to Pentax rather than the 1D upgrades?

I know someone who runs a successful eBay business dealing with model cars and railways from his modest home address - he has a huge garage in his garden which is chock full and is genuine. In this case it is useful to read reviews, a few five star (could be planted) but too many bad reviews complaining about poor delivery and goods. But K20 is right in that it is best to deal with a business you can visit if parting with large sums or ordering something which may need attention later on.
