Ask Nikon users how good their wireless connection is! Pentax use wifi with the image synch app which in my experience works pretty well.Having NO IR REMOTE when Nikon have started including Bluetooth Remotes I would say the camera was aimed at the Kodak Instamatic User

Maybe Pentax are being more realistic in their pricing strategy for camera bodies; look at what you are getting compared to what else is on the market. This is being pitched squarely at the mid range mirrorless sector. And don't forget the K1 went up in price a few months after its launch and not just in the UK either.
Has anyone tried the 1.4x teleconverter with DFA lenses on a K1? Googling compatibility with FF brings up lots of speculation but I cannot find anything definite. Logically it would only be used at the long end of telephoto zoom lenses like the 70-200mm and 150-450mm, as well as the 300mm lens so that is where the performance matters. The results would need to be better than cropping an image to be worth buying one, I say that because I have an old Vivitar 2x teleconverter which requires manual focus but a cropped image without it and using autofocus is marginally sharper.

What software do you use for movie editing?

I cannot imagine the grip would be changed much so a more integrated look would be more appealing in my view; it doesn't appear to have any mechanical or electrical functions so could they not have clipped on with a bolt in the base?

It would seem it might be better if the software shake reduction system was abandoned altogether given it reduces quality rather than improves it! No doubt that wouldn't go down to well with the marketing guys however.
Having used the K-5 video with success in the past I hadn't realised the present incarnation had become so poor. Pentax need to at least put it back to what it was in the K-5 !

That's quite large for a 50mm lens, hopefully it will be at the Photography Show next month.
Great to see Pentax maintaining its primacy with top end glass.
