Well you know my thoughts on Black & White Cliff, and these are excellent. The Silver Lady would have been better without the reflections of the people in it, but that's just my opinion. I have never used my kit lens (Mk2) until the other day, I thought the build quality was poor, so the images would be also, how wrong can you be, I was quite impressed.

I have heard that some are. The way to find out is put them on a film camera.
I shall have to try mine on the old LX then and see.

I also enjoyed the simplicity of your site, worked perfectly for me and I did not encounter any difficulties in the use of it. Looking forward with interest to its completion.
P.S, Whilst commenting I would just like to say I enjoyed your black & white images immensely.

Interesting as John says and I am most curious with regard to life saving, if not to personal, appreciate you expanding on that one. I unfortunately do not agree with your comment, however well intended, one camera for this and one for that, no sorry. Choosing a lens for this and a lens for that,Yes. Like many members here, I also have an array of different cameras collected over the years, but I could not and would not categorise them in such a manner.

I also have the M 40mm pancake, I use with my LX, K10 & K20. Its a good walk about town lens, has excellent definition, useful in and around crowds, does not protrude too much, I have had some superb shots with it and you can still pick them up for a reasonable price i believe

35mm has been around for so long and become so popular that its kind of become the "standard" by which everything else is measured, look at it from this point of view; why is your car engines output measured in "horse power"
Alan, Even horse power is now no longer used in car engines, they refer now to 105ps or 77kW, all very confusing for someone as old as I am.

Thanks Gwyn - I think the heat over here is making people cross!
There is no excuse for bad manners or such behavior, its an absolute disgrace and I feel for you and your staff that you are subjected like this.

60-250mm f/4.0 ED (IF) SDM* - £1150 ? Unbelievable that a lens that has only just come out has been increased by a third.

I remember a certain Shampoo link that was probably about the biggest seller in the UK about 20 years ago doubling their price and putting it in a fancy bottle because they thought it was worth more... Result it disappeared almost overnight.

Thanks for that shim, some of your links are unbelievable, I don't know how you do it, but keep them coming, fascinating - Thanks.

I think there is a hill in Lincoln itself - not sure if it qualifies for mountain status though?

They way I read it only the dealers listed on the page opposite the voucher are participating.

In Wales that is:-

Cambrian Photography Ltd
Colwyn Bay

Camera Centre Cardiff Ltd
Cardiff

Carmarthen Camera Centre Ltd
Carmarthen

The nearest to me Huw is Merthyr and the cost of petrol round trip would pay for the grip at full price, but thanks anyway

Celtic Vision
Narbeth

Walters Photo-Video
Merthyr Tydfil
