Competition closes 15. April, 1800 BST.
(I would like to make you aware that I will be away on the 15. I suspect that I will have internet connection in the evenings but it's not guaranteed.)
Happy shooting,
Prieni

I took the *istDS, after my friend Prieni spoke about using his *istD, and finding problems. Luckily the DS worked a treat, and it seems so small in comparison to the K10D + Grip, almost felt like a compact, must use it more.
And yes, the *istD is tiny!

A few words........why worry so much? It's a friendly competition, and the worst that could happen, is that one gets some useful feedback/tips on how to improve. We are not competing for the Nobel Prize!!!
Why didn't you say that earlier?
Only kidding. If it were for the Nobel prize we wouldn't worry so much.

Even though I have no real time to shoot anything more before the closing date I still have time to play with my entry in post processing (and probably ruin it in the process) & you just never know, an alien spaceship could land in my garden & luckily I have a macro lens now to capture the little green men.
Although I'd probably be happier at having an image to auction to the highest media bidder rather than a possible winning competition entry !
Also I would keep the fisheye handy in case the green men are not so little...

Thanks for the feedback all.
Can anyone tell me what the advatantages of the 724 over the 700 are?
The Arctic Butterfly® SL700 is an entry level DSLR sensor cleaning tool for the more budget orientated consumers. It uses one AAA battery (not included), has a lower spinning speed compared to the Arctic Butterfly® 724 and does not offer the convenience of a detachable brush. The Arctic Butterfly® SL700 is compact so that it can easily fit into a photographer's pocket and comes with a bristle cap and sturdy carrying case.
- it has a lower spinning speed
- it does not have a detachable brush
Since I only have the 724 I don't know for sure but these strike me as not being huge disadvantages.
Oh, one important drawback: It is an entry level cleaning tool. Certainly you are an advanced cleaner.

I had the camera stored without main batteries, though, only the backup was in.
