Not many people printing at home, is that due to cost or some other reason?
Cost and hassle. It's rather tedious setting up a fully colour managed work flow and the results can be disastrous if you do not fully understand what you're doing. Given how cheap it is to print at a professional photo lab wher all these things are taken care off for me, I find it hard to justify printing at home.

The only downside is the time it takes to upload a huge job for printing, but you can always set it up to upload overnight.

P mode, auto-iso with my Pentax 18-250mm on my K-7.

If fiddling about in M mode will help me take photos with better composition, colour, texture and balance then I'd be all over that. Reality is that it doesn't so I save myself some grief and delegate to the camera.

This must mean that I'm the only honest ebayer in the world.

I've always been tempted to get a Mac just so that I can run Aperture. From what little I've seen of it at the store, it was a decent product but there wasn't anything that made it significantly better than either Lightroom or Bibble.

I guess this means I'm making a trip down to the local Mac shop to give it a try.

I use Photobox for fun prints, and Loxley Colour for the £££ ones. To be honest, I've been rather happy with Photobox's prints however you need to be sure that you've calibrated your monitor and you've saved your JPEGs in sRGB mode and not Adobe RGB. No such limitations with Loxleys.

I did the update. Not sure if I should really have bothered as I don't notice a difference. I found the Metz 48 AF-1 to slightly over expose and I was hoping that this update would fix it.

The only other thing is that the shutter doesn't seem as quiet as I was expecting, although it is quieter - was I expecting too much of a difference from the K10/GX20 ?
I don't know what the K10 and GX20's shutter sounds like, but having shot with a Sony A200 and a Canon 50D, I can tell you that the K7's shutter is the quietest of all my cameras.

The Sony A200's shutter is so loud that you'd think half the town heard you taking a photo. The 50D's shutter is a lot quieter, though sounds a little "flimsy". I know I always worry that it's about to break. The K7 on the other hand sounds quite but reassuringly solid.

Yes, these are all subjective. Sue me.

I would like a DA 16-105, preferably WR and with SDM. This should replace the excellent though somewhat short 18-55mm WR kit lens that comes with the K-7. The Pentax lineup lacks a good general purpose lens which all other manufacturers have.
