Cheers
Can't believe I didn't see the blow out on one, I'll have another look. Great idea for black and white , lots of patterns and textures. Thanks for the help everyone.

Still processing images from a visit to Iceland earlier this year. Wonderful blue ice from the glaciers. Very cold but also empty of tourists outside of the capital when we went. Definitely a place to revisit.
Any feedback greatly appreciated of course

Paul,
I was an aperture user and really liked the program . I ended up just importing my originals into Lightroom. I do like Lightroom very much. It may be worth doing the 30 day trial. If you like it you can pay a monthly fee for the latest version. Have a look online at adobe.

Nice set Alan, it's been years since I managed a visit. Are you still allowed down to the shoreline? It was a bit of a trek if I remember correctly.

Hi Malcolm, It was taken at the long end of an old Sigma 120-400 I have , they sometimes get negative press but it works ok for what I need, although it's not a lens I use very often. ISO was ramped up a bit more than I usually use at 800. But it was ****** cold and it was hand held.
