Lacewing

This landed on my bench, this afternoon....
Brought home in an empty wood screws' box, to the "studio".

K5, 100mm. D FA Macro, the second plus 30mm tube & Tamron 1.4 converter.
AF280ft flash, bounce of f a sheet of white paper.

Handheld, manual focus.















Any thoughts, most welcome.

Quite like the first one, what is the second one covered in?

I like these, unusual to see the subject in such a neutral background but it does work.

I think it is dead otherwise such build up would not occur
Shows up those lovely bright green eyes though

Very beautiful... particularly no.1... a great insight into the wonder of creation...
