As we have now begun the new year, has anyone got any particular photographic goals, I.e. Subjects, places, or just things to do to improve their photography?

I broke my leg a few months ago, which led to a cancellation of a visit to Iceland, a place I've long wanted to photograph. For me this year it's simple..

A) get out and about once the leg is fixed, got a few weeks more yet!
B) perhaps do some still life until I can?
C) seascapes in pembrokshire
D) Iceland at the end of the year
E) just get out and do more generally
f) do some updates on species ( puffins, seals, owls, otters)
G) replace those worn filters

Can't wait to get going

What about you.

Both Very nice Alan,

I prefer no 2 as there is a little more going on. Personally I also like the color tone. Well worth getting up for.

I'd second either the K50 or any of the K5 "family" some real bargains second hand, all very capable cameras.

K5 ii seems a bit better in low light than my K 50, but to be honest I dont shoot at very high ISO !

Thanks everyone for your feedback. I did have a sigma 10-20 back in the days when I was shooting with Canon gear . I'll probably stick with what I have at present and invest in replacing a couple of grad filters that have seen better days.

Are there any recommendations for options to invest that would improve on these? I have the 18-135 and the 10-17.

Thinking 16-45 or 16-50 but don't have any experience of these.

Any suggestions welcome

Cheers

Lovely set, I do like no 2 especially, although I really like No 3 , do you have any leeway to recover any further detail in the left hand side wall?

Nice work. -
