I could say you were barking up the wrong tree!
But why not give it a go? The only thing i find is that this particular image is a little too symmetrical, But well done for trying it out!

Best Regards - Pete.

Some very nice shots there, They bring back lots of fond memories! The Anson looks great and the SE5a has got a cracking sky but it`s the Piston Provost that tugs on my heartstrings the most!

Before i bought my first Digital Camera i used to Scan my Negs and Transparencies using a Minolta Dimage Scan Dual III. You could crop, and edit the image for brightness, colour balance etc before actually making a final scan, they still pop up on E-Bay occasionally, I saw one go for around £50 but more usually around £100.

Actually it did Peter, the opening sentance of the first post; Specifically that is when it comes to photography.

But we'll let you off for such an entertaining story, but please name the airline so we can all avoid it
Don`t worry it was not a civilian aircraft!!!

Very odd! I have used K and M primes from 20mm up to 300mm and white balance has been no different to the DA zooms or even the Kit Lenses so i`m baffled by your results. If the Framing were different (say showing less sky) or the lighting had changed between shots then i could understand it but that certainly is not the case here!

Best Regards - Pete

As this thread does`nt specify Camera related technology i have a story that i recently witnessed... I shall be as non specific as i can to protect the guilty!
Not so very long ago a large aircraft belonging to a non UK operator landed at an Airport expecting to be met by his fellow countrymen. When they did not materialise he used his cellphone to contact them only to find they were still waiting for him to land! He had relied on his GPS to get him to his destination but had chosen the wrong one of two destinations offered to him by his equipment. He was not even in the right country!

Its so refreshing to read a straightforward review, Just the facts without any snide sideswipes or smartA**e remarks! and even takes the time to demystify some of the jargon which as experienced photographers we take for granted yet are sometimes beyond those just starting out.
Just the way a review should be!

Hi Kris,
You may have already been successful in finding a copy by now but i discovered the issue that you need on the back seat of my car a couple of days ago, I just could`nt find the thread until now!
I usually pass my old Mags on to some of the guys at work and thought this one had gone the same way.

Regards - Pete.
